Character Info[edit | edit source]

Teruka Usuma is a Stage 5B Boss in Mysterious Origins. You fight against her at the huge gate in Dervas.

Name Info[edit | edit source]

照火 means Shining Flame.

薄真 means Thin/Light Truth.

Aura Info[edit | edit source]

Teruka is a Light/Fire elemental Knight.

Story[edit | edit source]

An abandoned Chōchin that trained for 8 years (after becoming a living being) to become one of the Strongest Knights in the Country of Ferachi. She had 2 Owners before but they eventually abandoned her when the Chōchin Lantern flashed colors. The Owners suspected the Lantern was possessed and so it laid in the closet for 100 years until Teruka emerged. Teruka, after becoming a Youkai, didn't know how to fit in the crowd but instead, she trained under the King's wing for 10 years and eventually became who she is today.

According to MO, When Teruka found out about people causing chaos in the Capital (Dervas) she left her position to see what was going on. And that’s where the Story begins.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

•Teruka was slightly based off of Delianna from Rogen Project (as they’re both Elemental Youkai who solve Incidents, except one is a Princess while the other is a Knight), Chōchins (the “Armor“ around her waist resembles them), and Abel from Reiryoku Project (the First Installment in Project Hishuu).

•Teruka is the first Protagonist in the Hishuu Series who is a Youkai.

•Ashes to Ashes 「Charring Touch」is both a reference to the old nursery rhyme, "Ring Around the Rosie" and Five Finger Death Punch's "Ashes".

•Teruka's sword's shape bears a resemblance to the Ankh, the ancient egyptian symbol of life, possibly being a reference to her becoming a Tsukumogami.
